support group meets every Monday evening at a convenient location just off I-75
in Royal Oak, Michigan. Higher Ground also offers

Yoga Class
Thursday Evenings 7:15pm to 8:15pm
 Hatha Yoga class for people living with HIV/AIDS.
Each class to focus on different introductory postures. Attend all classes for a
gentle and relaxing experience! Please bring a yoga mat and a blanket.

Retreats
 Higher
Ground offers retreats throughout the year. Higher Ground's annual retreat has
been held in beautiful settings in northern Michigan, including the Kettunen Center
in Tustin, Michigan. The retreats provide a place for Higher Ground participants
to establish friendships, to gain further knowledge about complementary therapies,
and also learn what other HIV/AIDS individuals are experiencing.

Higher Ground participants support the community by volunteering for community service
projects, including its annual
Blanket For AIDS Drive.

Our blanket drive has already started for the year 2009. We are asking you and local
businesses to purchase the donation sheet above for a minimum of ONE DOLLAR each.

If you are a business that would like to purchase a pad of 50 of our donation sheets
to sell and post in your business please send an email to rick@hghiv.org and he
will make sure that you get a pad of 50 to sell in your business.

In the past six years Higher Ground and the community (you) has given out over 7,000
new blankets to Southeastern Michigan. These blankets have gone to men, women, and
children living with HIV/AIDS. Please donate today.
